I'm the admin of a new project, and now after some test Started some real crunching...

Now i would like to se if it can be managed by BAM, so it makes easier to admin my machines.

I'm not pretty sure of the requiriment to be here, so... if the project needs to meet some requeriments, please tell me so.

Result: to publish (in the same site idealy... but still not sure how).

Can someone please PM me this project's admin's e-mail? I have a serious issue that needs to be resolved and he is probably the only person to do it. Also, make sure your team's founder is in fact who they say they are. The founder for our team never created an account for himself nor the team for this project.

Whoever created our team's account use one of our not so active founders and an old team description. We don�t like this approach for we don�t have the control that we need. Also, now this person cannot log into the website to change things for we do not know the password. Most annoying.

Importing BOINC-wide teams

BOINC has a mechanism to let users create BOINC-wide teams - teams that have same name and founder email address on all BOINC projects. If a new BOINC-wide team is created, it will automatically be created on your project as well - but only if you add the following to your config.xml file:

I pm'ed the admin about this "feature", and got this answer:

I've already found my team here, apparently founded by the original Seti founder. I was a bit astounded, but didn't worry. Now I see all the complaints about prefab teams in the forum, and I think the same had happened to SETI.Germany.

Why had you created this accounts and teams?
Is this a new "feature" of BOINC?
If so, it's rubbish, it doesn't work.

Can you inform at least the involuntary founders about their new project, some of them never intended to found?

OK, I'll be doing that when I come back to the office. by know i disable this "feature".

Well yes, that was me...

Now, i wasn't aware of this "feature" so, sorry for the inconvenience. Now it's disabled, but the accounts are "created" already so, I configured the mail subsystem (by now it's working) this way some can retrieve the password and stuff directly.

But if you prefer to delete this account, just PM.

He wanted to test BAM!, but just for himself. BAM! isn't designed that way so that won't work.
